Prospective and Visiting Students
The Department of Hydrology and Water Resources encourages prospective incoming graduate students to visit our department for the day of El Dia del Agua (Thursday, March 6, 2008), and Friday for meetings with the faculty. Download a pdf with more info about El Dia del Agua specifically for visiting students. Classes in the department are cancelled on Thursday, and it is usually an excellent opportunity to meet most of the students and faculty in the department. Prospective students should will meet with individual faculty as a group during the “meet and greet” breakfast on Friday and individually throughout the day. The HWR Student Association (HWRSA) is planning to have student social functions on Thursday and Friday, geared toward prospective students. These would be a great way to talk with the current students in a more relaxed environment.
